Kilimanjaro Hotel Dar

Kilimanjaro Hotel Dar is located Dar es Salaam on the coast of Tanzania.

This large and prominent feature of the waterfront just to the north of the main harbour was originally constructed in the 1970s and until recently had fallen into a very poor state of repair.

Refurbished in 2006, the old hotel is now a rather chic and upmarket place, with a price tag to match.

Stylish reception areas contain three restaurants, on the first floor is a spa, gym and pool area, whilst the rooftop bar enjoys great views over the city. There are 180 rooms in several categories.

Reopened as part of the Kempinski chain, it changed to Hyatt during 2011.

Kilimanjaro Hotel Dar is a genuinely high-class establishment, although since most of our guests are only overnighting in Dar out of necessity, we tend to more often use the simpler and lower cost Dar Southern Sun or Hotel Slipway.

Project Title

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
