Lua Cheia Beach Camp is located on the northeast of Mafia Island off the coast of Tanzania.
This simple tented camp is remotely located away from any other lodges and with virgin sandy beaches virtually as far as the eye can see in either direction.
Public areas are limited to a couple of open-sided bandas serving as lounge and dining areas. The six guest tents are small but reasonably well equipped with fans and bathrooms. There is also a small pool.
Activities include kayaking, sailing, fishing and walking.
Lua Cheia Beach Camp is a real breathe of fresh air, an ultra-simple camp on a beautiful remote beach. Very Robinson Crusoe.
We find that Lua Cheia works really well after a few nights at the fabulous Chole Mjini Lodge to provide a truly great Mafia island experience.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
