Ras Kutani Lodge is located on the mainland coast about 30km south of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania.
Situated on a hillside between a freshwater lagoon and the ocean, this very high-quality lodge offers barefoot luxury to a discerning clientele, often in combination with a flying safari into the nearby Selous game reserve.
The lodge itself has expansive public areas above the beach, a nice pool and around twenty very nice guest suites, all in a semi-rustic beach-chic style. Activities include lots of beach relaxation, spa treatments, snorkelling, boogie boarding, nature and village walks. Horseriding is also intermittently available. But note that in stark contrast with the islands, there is no scuba diving here.
Ras Kutani Lodge is a top quality beach lodge, considerably lower cost than equivalents out on the islands. We find that it works particularly well in a beach-safari-beach type of trip, with this as the first stop.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
