Shamba Kilole Lodge is located alongside Chole Bay on the island of Mafia off the coast of mainland Tanzania.
Opened in August 2009, this small and intimate lodge is owned by Italian couple Marco and Francesca, who have been working here as dive instructors since around 2002.
There are just six rooms, three suite and 3 smaller chalets. Central areas are intimate and pleasant, there is a rather nice pool and Marco’s cooking is a real highlight.
Whilst our more outdoorsy guests to Mafia tend to head for the superb Chole Mjini, Shamba Kilole may prove to be a lower-cost alternative worthy of consideration.
Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
